http://www.microglobe.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?pName=nikon-d60-d60-digital-slr-camera-1855mm-vr-lens New Nikon D60 slr vr PMA 2008
Stunning photography is just a step away!!!
With 10.2 megapixels and remarkable compactness, the D60 10.2MP offers incredible picture quality, extensive built-in dust reduction technologies and a comprehensive set of creative options. With a split-second shutter response, the D60 10MP captures pictures that cameras with longer time lags miss. Ease of use and creative options both come standard with the D60, whose exclusive Nikon technologies help deliver high-quality pictures with vibrant color and stunning, edge-to-edge detail. Such superior results are achieved through a high-resolution image sensor utilizing 10.2 megapixels, world-famous NIKKOR lenses delivering razor-sharp pictures, and many cutting-edge Nikon features to further enhance your picture-taking experience. Nikon’s advanced 3D Color Matrix Metering II ensures consistently balanced exposures for images with natural color and contrast, while Nikon’s new digital image processing concept, EXPEED, makes it possible to deliver smoother tones and more accurate colors. Nikon’s fast, quiet and precise autofocus system adds significantly to the performance of the D60, capturing exact moments with astounding clarity.

Such clarity is reinforced by Nikon’s dust reduction countermeasures. To avoid picture-degrading dust particles accumulating near the imaging sensor, the D60 comes equipped with the innovative Image Sensor Cleaning function and Nikon’s exclusive Airflow Control System. These functions both reduce dust accumulation to give you even better picture quality.

In addition to new dust reduction features, the D60 offers a variety of ways to experience more fun and creativity when taking pictures. Users can easily capture dynamic images in different shooting situations with a simple turn of the mode dial. The Retouch Menu offers even more creative excitement, letting you change your pictures into even more striking images — all fast, all simple and all without the need for a computer.

Compact and comfortable, the D60 has so much to offer: amazing picture quality, simple operation, an Integrated Dust Reduction System for clearer pictures and an extensive selection of creative features. The result: fun, fantastic and inspired pictures. The world of stunning photography is just a step away, with the Nikon D60. Nikon 18-55mm vr lens also works with Nikon d60. It incorporates vibrating dust reduction system. Imaging Resource PMA 2008 Nikon D-SLR camera.

Which is the best digital SLR for its value?

Thursday Aug 26, 2010

I want to buy my first DSLR, and I’m not sure which ones are the best for their value.
I’ve narrowed it down to the Nikon D60 and Canon Rebel XSi. Does anyone have any opinions on these cameras or have other suggestions?

Thanks!

Actually in the entry level category, the Nikon D40 with two lenses is the best value. Under $550.

Next would be the D90 in the sub-$1,000 range and the most features for the buck would be the D700 full frame DSLR

What is the best slr digital camera?

Monday Aug 16, 2010

Im looking to upgrade from my digital to a SLR. My budget is about below $600. Anyone have a good one that they would recommend? Im looking at the Nikon D40 & D60.

Thanks(:

On your budget I recommend Canon Digital Rebel XS Kit Set.

The Canon Rebel XS is an incredibly nice intro for a post-point-and-shoot photographer. The manual is explained quite well (even managing to simplify the concepts of f-stops and shutter speeds), and the camera itself is clever enough to generally get it right when set to Program (auto) mode.

For a DSLR, the camera isn’t overly heavy, and I haven’t felt it to be cumbersome in the variety of shooting situations in which I’ve used it.

The screen is a nice size, and the playbacks seem to mimic the color quality of the RAWs relatively faithfully.

One of my few complaints is with the amount of software provided. While this may seem a bit silly, the number of programs seems superfluous, as many of the functions of one are echoed in another. With my first two or three file transfers, I was sometimes confused as to why or whether I needed three of their provided programs open at once just to view my images.

Overall, the Rebel XS is a quality DSLR, and I’d recommend it to anyone starting out in serious photography.

KIT INCLUDES 9 PRODUCTS ; All Brand New Items with all Manufacturer-supplied Accessories + Full USA Warranties
Canon Digital Rebel XS 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera (Black) with Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Zoom Lens [Outfit]

Cameta Incognito Deluxe Gadget Bag; discreetly holds and protects your Digital SLR Camera with zoom lens attached and accessory flash

Need advice on buying digital SLR camera?

Thursday Aug 5, 2010

I’m getting more serious in my photography hobby & was looking to upgrade to an digital SLR from my little Canon powershot point & shoot. I’ve been comparing the Nikon D40 & the Canon Rebel XL & can’t decide which would be better overall.
OR if I should upgrade even more to a D60 or something.
I just want something that for an amateur but it good quality–just good overall.
Any advice and pointers would be appreciated.

I am woundering what slr digital camera I should get?

Saturday Jul 31, 2010

This is my first time getting a slr digital camera and I am woundering which one would be the best choice for about $550. I was thinking either the nikon d60 or the canon rebel sx. Any sugestions?

go for Canon Rebel XS
For perfect photos, fast and simple, there’s nothing better than Canon’s new EOS Rebel XS. With powerful features including a 10.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, Canon’s DIGIC III processor, fast shooting and more, it’s a digital powerhouse. With simple, easy-to-use controls, a compact design, a 2.5-inch LCD monitor, and Live View Function, it’s a beginner’s dream come true.
