I am looking to upgrade my digital camera to a low grade professional one. Obviously, Cannon and Nikon are the top two choices on my list. We have looked at Nikon D60, D90, Cannon EOS 45OD and Cannon EOS 50D.
Looking to hear what people who have these cameras have to say (feel free to make another suggestion) and what you can find on the web to back it up…..
Thanks!
Its actually Canon. Only one "n" in the middle.. but it doesnt really matter.. because i dont like Canon. Nikon is my love. ..D90.. dont even waste your money.. Go with the D40 or D60. All it is.. is the body and you can buy interchangable lenses for either of them. So the only thing you really need to look at is the MP ..which are not a whole difference.. unless you are blowing your pictures up to be HUGE. ..like billboard size. ..thats the only way you will really notice a pixel difference. I have the D40 D60 D80 and D200. ..i love the D40.. its my favorite by far.. I just use different lenses with it all the time. Good Luck, <3

I have a NikonD60. How do I get the display screen to show what is in the view finder (this is usually the default on most digital cameras). Thanks
Digital SLRs have only recently started adding this to their cameras. I don’t believe that the D60 is one of them.
The problem is that the sensor heats up while it’s on, causing digital noise or even damaging the sensor. The smaller point and shoot cameras have sensors that are so small heat is less of an issue.
